How to Use the Free PepShare Web Calculator (and Log Your Vial in PepShare)

For research reference only. This is a math tool and a tracking app, not medical advice. PepShare never recommends an amount.

If you track research peptides, you already know the record keeping has two parts: working out the numbers for a vial, and keeping a clean log of what you have and what you did with it. We split those into two tools. The free web calculator on pepshare.app handles the math. The PepShare iPhone app handles the record. This guide walks through both, step by step.

What the web calculator does (and doesn't do)

The calculator only does arithmetic on numbers you type in. It doesn't suggest a compound, an amount, a schedule or a protocol, and it never will. Every value comes from you, usually straight off your vial and your own notes.

It runs in your browser, it's free, and there's no account. It also saves nothing. Close the tab and your numbers are gone. That's on purpose. This page forgets. PepShare remembers. To keep a vial or a pin, save it in PepShare.

Step 1: Open the calculator

Go to pepshare.app/calculator in Safari or any browser. On iPhone you can add it to your Home Screen: tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. It then opens in one tap, next to your other apps.

The calculator has two tabs: Vial and Pin.

Step 2: Work out your vial (Vial tab)

Fill in what's on the vial:

  • Compound: the name printed on the vial (for example, the product code from your supplier)
  • Label (optional): a nickname so you can tell two vials apart
  • Peptide in vial, in mg
  • BAC water added, in mL
  • Mixed: the date you mixed it
  • Use within: how many days you plan to keep it, from your own notes
  • Half-life (optional), in hours, if you keep that for reference

The calculator shows the resulting concentration in mg/mL, plus a summary of the values you entered. If something looks off, a Check this box flags it so you can recheck your numbers before you rely on them.

Step 3: Work out a pin (Pin tab)

Tap Use this vial in Pin → to carry the vial over, or enter the concentration yourself. Then enter:

  • Amount, in mg or mcg, that you already have from your own records
  • Syringe: U-100 0.3 mL (30 units), 0.5 mL (50 units) or 1 mL (100 units)

The calculator shows the matching volume in mL, syringe units (exact, plus the nearest printed mark), and draws per vial. It warns you if an amount is bigger than the whole vial, won't fit the syringe you picked, falls between syringe marks, or is too small to read reliably. Those are math checks, not advice. Always check every number yourself.

Step 4: Type the values into PepShare

The calculator doesn't store anything, so this is the step that keeps your record. It's manual on purpose. Nothing moves automatically from the website into the app. You copy the numbers over yourself, which also gives you one more chance to double-check them.

In PepShare, add a vial and type in what you just used:

  1. Open Vials and add a new vial.
  2. Enter the compound, label, peptide mg, water mL, mixed date and use-within days, exactly as you entered them on the calculator.
  3. Save. PepShare stores the values you typed and shows them back to you.

When you log a pin, enter the amount from your notes. PepShare keeps the record; it doesn't redo or second-guess the math.

Step 5: Label it and share it

PepShare Free is one vial and one person, free forever. It's not a trial. PepShare+ unlocks the rest: more vials and people, Niimbot labels, sharing, Apple Health and CSV import:

  • Print a label on a Niimbot printer so every vial on the shelf is identified.
  • Track more than one person on one schedule, if you keep logs for your household.
  • Share a vial or log by link or QR with someone else who uses PepShare.

Your log stays on your iPhone, and you don't need an account. See our getting started guide for the full walkthrough.

Tips for clean records

  • Copy numbers straight from the vial, not from memory.
  • Use the Label field to tell apart two vials of the same compound.
  • Keep the calculator on your Home Screen so the math and the log are both one tap away.
  • If a number changes (a new vial, a different water amount), redo it on the calculator and update the vial in PepShare.

Frequently asked questions

Is the calculator free? Yes. It's free on the web and needs no account.

Does the calculator save my numbers? No. It stores nothing. To keep a vial or pin, save it in PepShare (free forever for one vial and one person).

Does it tell me how much to use? No. It only does math on values you enter. Decisions about what to use are yours to make with a qualified professional.

Will my numbers sync into the app? No. You type them into PepShare yourself.

Is this medical advice? No. PepShare and the web calculator are for research reference and record keeping only. Not medical advice: talk to your doctor before making any medical decision.
